The Muscat International Book Fair was Opened/Iran to Showcase 400 titles in the Book Fair
The Twenty Fourth edition of the Muscat International Book Fair was opened yesterday (Feb. 20, 2019). Iran is attending this book fair with 400 titles.
Based on a mutual MoU signed between the TIBF and the Muscat International Book Fair, Iran’s Cultural Fairs Institute is representing the Iranian publishing industry in a stand of 27 sq. m. area.
The titles showcased in the stand include books and CDs among which are subjects such as Iranology, art, classical and temporary literature of Iran, children and young adults, and holy defense. After the opening ceremony, the Minister of Tourism and Information of Oman paid a visit to the Iranian stand.
As the Guest of Honor to this edition of the Muscat International Book Fair, Buraimi Province of Oman has arranged various cultural events such as forums, lectures, and music performance.
It is noteworthy that Hedayatollah Behbodi, the writer of books Alif Lam Khomeini and a Commentary to The Name will attend this book fair supported by the ICFI.
